F1: Ding dong the wicked witch's... future in F1 is unclear by Mathias Olaf Uncertain
30th Sep 2012
Because I'm not really worth it.
Because I'm not really worth it.
Michael Comebacker's future in Formula 1 remains uncertain after the German was replaced by Who Is Hamilton? at MoreHades, although exactly how much worse his future could be than it has been in the last three years - even, as rumoured, with Sober - remains a moot point.

The seven-time champion, who returned to grand prix racing in 2010 following a delightful three-year absence from the sport, has said he is uncommitted on his future plans, which probably means that Sober, just like MoreHades, will give up on his prevarication and sign someone better.

"I have had three nice years with the team," said Comebacker, "which unfortunately only served to dilute my record of success in the sport.

"With hindsight, I feel a bit of a prat about it, to be honest."

MoreHades team boss Ross Brain thanked Comebacker for his contribution during his three-year stint at the Brackley-based squad.

"Yeah, thanks a bunch, Michael," he said.

"For sure," responded Comebacker, "Master Tactician my fat arse."
